In 1996, London & Continental Railways Limited (LCR) was selected by the Government to build and operate the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), and to own and operate the UK arm of the Eurostar train service. The property division of LCR is London & Continental Stations & Properties (LCSP) and its remit is clear – to manage St Pancras Station in London and oversee the development of land alongside the Channel Tunnel Rail Link route.

The regeneration story for the CTRL is an impressive one. Working in partnership with Stanhope plc, Multiplex and the Westfield Group, LCSP will be helping to design and construct Stratford City, a new metropolitan centre for East London. LCSP will also be working with Argent (King’s Cross Development) Ltd. to create a new piece of London – King’s Cross Central.
